Why New Day’s Resolutions Are Better

As the calendar flips to a new year, you’re going to hear a lot about New Year’s resolutions.

Set big goals. Make bold promises. Completely reinvent yourself overnight.

And then… by mid-January, most of them fade. (January 19th is actually known as "Quitter's Day" 😬)

That’s why we don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions here at MLM. Instead, we believe in New Day’s resolutions.

A New Day’s resolution is simple: When you wake up each morning, you recommit to who you’re becoming.

Not someday. Not when motivation is high. Today.

You look at each day as Day 1, and every day you choose:

• To control the controllables
• To execute your routines
• To do the boring things with excellence
• To live by your standards, not your feelings

Confidence isn’t built from declaring goals once a year. It’s built from keeping small promises to yourself every single day. From stacking small wins until they become habits, and then having those habits lead you to what you're after.

You don’t need a perfect year. You don’t need massive change all at once. You need intentional days stacked on top of each other. That’s how identity is built and that's how real, lasting transformation happens.

So as this new year begins, don’t ask: “What do I want to achieve this year?” Ask: “Who do I need to be today?” Then do it again tomorrow.

Here's to New Day's Resolutions in 2026.

Happy New Year (Year 1) 😉 to you all!

Bring It ALL On,

-Brandon
